DESCRIPTION

The theme of the exhibition was: Festivistische Vernissage – Feastivist Vernissage.
They exhibited 3 different items. Main work was their engagement with the topic of identity and mask. They exhibited analogue made and developed photographs of portraits of themselves, alienated with liquid protein lazur paint. Second project was a photo novel about a love affair. Third was their individual art work of painting, where Mateus-Berr focused on inspirations of indigenous tribes of Brazil, intuitively inspired by A.R. Penck.

The first exhibition of the artist took place at the Gallery Energy 1090 Vienna, together with her fellow student Sabina Haas on the 23.5.1986.
