Where appropriate, information concerning installation, handling, maintenance, conservation, or environmental requirements may be provided.

Prospective purchasers are encouraged to request relevant information before confirming an acquisition.

Payments should be made only through methods and to recipients expressly confirmed by Ruth Mateus-Berr or an authorized representative.

Visitors should verify payment instructions before transferring funds.

10. Shipping, Installation, and Insurance

Shipping and delivery arrangements will be determined according to the artwork's size, materials, fragility, destination, and installation requirements.

Professional art transportation or specialist handling may be recommended for certain works.

For installations and site-specific projects, additional technical coordination may be necessary.

Responsibilities concerning packaging, transportation, insurance, installation, and related costs will be established in the applicable agreement.

11. International Acquisitions

International transactions may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes, export regulations, and other applicable requirements.

Relevant responsibilities and costs will be clarified before completing a transaction.

12. Copyright and Reproduction Rights

The acquisition of an original artwork does not automatically transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with Ruth Mateus-Berr or the relevant rights holders.

  • Commercially reproduce artwork images

  • Publish or distribute reproductions

  • License artwork imagery to third parties

  • Create unauthorized commercial adaptations

  • Use protected artworks for artificial intelligence training

Reproduction and licensing permissions must be addressed separately where required by applicable law.

Any return, cancellation, or withdrawal arrangements will be governed by the terms of the relevant acquisition or commission agreement and applicable law.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits mandatory consumer protections, including applicable statutory withdrawal or conformity rights.

Where legally required, relevant information about consumer rights will be provided before an agreement is concluded.

15. Accuracy of Artwork Information
