The Viseu City Council and the Association of Visual Expression and Communication Teachers are honored to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Precarious Archives of Memory on October 2, 2025, at the Quinta da Cruz Contemporary Art Center in Viseu, at 5:00 p.m., with Ruth Mateus-Berr, activist, designer, post-conceptual artist, and professor at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and Pia Scharler, designer, artistic researcher at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, and creative director of several companies. This exhibition is a poetic archive of memory - and forgetting. It brings together oil paintings, drawings, object installations, and photomontages that depict rare plants and, at the same time, address the fragility of human memory.
