Mental Load & Invisible Labour continues its journey with a new exhibition venue at VHS Donaustadt x kleine galerie in Vienna. Building on its presentations in Bad Ischl and the ongoing Venice Biennale, the exhibition explores the invisible labour of care, responsibility, and everyday life through the works of an international group of contemporary artists.

From 6–16 May 2026, Mental Load & Invisible Labour transformed three unique venues in Bad Ischl into spaces for reflection and dialogue. This recap looks back on an exhibition that explored the invisible labour of care and responsibility while bringing together international artists in a powerful curatorial journey that continues in Venice and Vienna.
