My colleague Michael Schneider and his students from Tokyo Geidai University as well as students from Die Angewandte Vienna, after the preparations for the exhibition" Culture Screen" as part of the Geidai Festival in Tokyo, Japan.

From September 5th to September 7th, 2025, the Geidai Festival will take place in Tokyo, Japan. We will be showcasing our exhibition "Culture Screen" during this period at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Tokyo Geidai.

As part of an ongoing research project, artists from Tokyo University of the Arts (Japan) and the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Austria) are approaching Osaka-zu Byobu not as a relic to be restored, but as a springboard for creative and artistic explorations, merging past and present in dialog.
